Product combos are promotional packages in which several products are offered at a discounted price. To encourage clients to buy additional items together, these offers can be set up using combo products. Combo offers, which combine similar products into eye-catching packages, can increase sales and enhance inventory turnover.
In Odoo 19, products that are offered in a package or bundle are referred to as combo products. These bundles can contain several separate products, each with a price of its own; yet, when they are sold together, their total cost may differ from the sum of the prices of the individual products. A printer, toner, and paper are all included in a combo product, which is offered at a lower cost than purchasing the components separately.
Customers can buy a combo product with only one click rather than choosing each product separately, which is one of its key benefits.
In this blog, we will discuss how to configure Combo Products in Odoo 19. We will also explain how to sell these combo products using the Sales module. Additionally, we’ll cover how the sales price is managed and calculated for combo product sales.
Creation of Combo Products
Let's navigate to the Configuration menu and select the Odoo 19 Sales module. The combo choice sub-menu is located beneath the product section.

Clicking the combo choices sub-menu displays all of the pre-made combo options. Click the New button to create a new combo choice.

A form to set the combo choices will appear after selecting the New button. Enter information in the Combo Choice, Company, Product, Original Price, and Extra Price areas on the form.
First, state the name of the constructed combo option. The term "Company" refers to the business where options are offered. All companies will have access to this combo choice if the field is left blank.

Maximum Items and Minimum Items are the two new fields that Odoo 19 introduces. The Maximum Items fields allow users to specify the maximum amount of items they have chosen from this combo. Then, you can enter the quantity of free things in this combo in the Minimum things field. Here, from this combo, the customer must choose a minimum of 1 item, but 1 item is included for free.
Then inside the Options, the users can mention the list of products, with the extra price. The original sales price of the product is visible there.
The combo pricing is the option with the lowest sales price. At $10, the Veg Burger has the lowest sales price in this case. So, the Combo cost is set as $10.

The next combo choice is Drinks. Here, the Options are added. The combo price is $10. Maximum is 1 and Includes 1 free.

The creation of a combined product is the next stage. Proceed to Products and just make a new combo product. After selecting the new button, enter the combo product's name.

When the product type is selected as a combination, an additional field labelled "Combo choice" is added to the product form. It is possible to add more combo options there. Thus, include the recently added combo options for "Burgers" and "Drinks." Next, give the sales price for the "Burger & Drinks Combo" that applies to both products in the combo. So the sales price is set as $50.
So let's sell the combo product. For that, create a new quotation for a customer. Click on the quotations, then the New button. Then add the customer name first. Then add the other details like Expiration, Pricelist etc. After that, click on the Add a Product inside the Order Lines.

A new popup window opens as shown below. The combo choices are available inside the window.

The confirm button can only be clicked if one product has been chosen from each combo option. A plus and minus button to add the product's quantity is located at the bottom of the pop-up window used for product selection. Then click on the Add to order button.
The chosen products are added to the order line as shown below. The quantity and price are shown below. The combination product costs $50 in total.

The Sales price of the Combo product is $50, which is equally divided as $25 for the Bacon Burger and $25 for Coca-Cola.
After the quotation has been prepared, click the Confirm button to make sure it is correct. At that point, the quotation will turn into a sales order. A Delivery smart button displays at the top of the order template.
To confirm that the combo products were delivered, click the Delivery smart tab. The combo's merchandise is ready to be supplied.

To confirm that the three products were delivered, there will be a validate button. Three goods need to be delivered because we only ordered one for the selling order line.

The product's move history, including the number of delivered items and the location from which the product was picked, will be shown when you navigate to the Moves smart tab of the delivery order.

There is a report on moves history when you navigate to the inventory module and select the Reporting menu. Three products to be delivered may be detected under the same delivery order when filtering based on the reference number of the order. The source and destination locations of the delivery orders may also be shown.

Making an invoice for the sale order for the combo products is the next stage. Return to the Sales module, choose the sale order, and then click the button labelled "Create invoice." Click the Confirm button to validate the invoice.

The combo product will appear on the first line of the invoice, followed by the combo choices in that order on the subsequent lines. Thus, the entire process of using the Odoo 19 Sales module to offer a combo product has been completed.
Combination product sales can be a calculated strategy to increase revenue and client satisfaction. Businesses can greatly raise the average amount spent per transaction by enticing customers to purchase many items at once.
