For a full overview of your content, navigate to the Social Marketing app and open the Posts section. The Social Posts page displays all posts created and published through Odoo, allowing you to review and manage them in one place.

When you select a post from the social media stream, a pop-up window opens displaying the post’s content along with its engagement metrics, such as likes, comments, and other interactions.

From the post’s pop-up window, users can also add a new comment by typing in the Write a comment… field and pressing Enter to publish it.

Create leads from comments

Odoo Social Marketing makes it possible to generate leads directly from social media comments. To do this, open the desired post from the dashboard, which will display the post in a pop-up window. Locate the comment you want to convert, then click on the three vertical dots next to it. From the drop-down menu that appears, select Create Lead, and Odoo will instantly add it to your CRM pipeline for follow-up.

When you select Create Lead from a comment’s drop-down menu, a Convert Post to Lead pop-up window will appear.

Under the Customer section, you’re given three options:

  • Create a new customer – Generates a brand-new customer record linked to the lead.
  • Link to an existing customer – Associates the lead with a customer already saved in your database.
  • Do not link to a customer – Creates the lead without tying it to any customer record (useful for early-stage prospects or when customer details are not yet available).

Once you select the appropriate option, you can click Convert to finalize the lead creation. The lead is then added to your CRM pipeline for follow-up by the sales team.
